2-D Stacked Symbologies
A two-dimensional (2-D) stacked symbology contains two or more rows of linear barcodes that are stacked vertically. Some 2-D stacked symbologies have separator bars between the data rows (such as GS1 DataBar Stacked), and others do not (such as PDF417).
Stacked symbologies are often used when the available printing space is taller than it is wide. They can be read by both laser scanners and imaging readers.
