Royal Mail CMDM Mailmark
The Royal Mail Complex Mail Data Mark (CMDM) Mailmark barcode was developed by Royal Mail of the United Kingdom. It is based on the Data Matrix ECC 200 symbology. Mailmark codes are added to mail pieces so that the Mailmark options of the Retail and Network Access product portfolios can be used.
Data Matrix is defined in ISO/IEC 16022 Information technology - Automatic identification and data capture techniques - Data Matrix bar code symbology specification. The CMDM implementation is defined in Royal Mail Mailmark®: Mailmark Barcode Definition Document, which is published by Royal Mail.
