Industrial 2 of 5

Industrial 2 of 5 is a member of the Code 2 of 5 symbology family, which was first developed in 1968. It has been used primarily for airline ticketing, warehouse sorting, and photo finishing.

The spaces in an Industrial 2 of 5 symbol are fixed-width, so that only the bars are used to encode information. The "2 of 5" name derives from the fact that of the five bars that are used to encode each character, two are wide and three are narrow.
