Singapore Post 4-State Postal Code
Singapore Post Mail 4-State Postal Code (also known as Singapore 4-State Postal, SingPost 4-State, SingPost Barcode, and Singapore 4-State Code) is used by Singapore Post for postal code and automatic mail sorting. It is identical to the Royal Mail 4-State Customer Barcode (CBC) that was developed by Royal Mail in the United Kingdom.

The data characters represent sorting rules and other information. Each character is made up of four separate bars. The term "4-state" is derived from the fact that each bar in this symbology is in one of four states. The names of the four states are as follows:

The minimum length of this symbology is 35.98 mm, and the maximum length is 68.58 mm. The density of the code is 20 to 24 bars per 25.4 mm. All bars must be evenly spaced.
Singapore Post Mail 4-State Postal Code requires a quiet zone space of at least 2 mm on all sides.
To correctly position this barcode symbol, it must be within the following margins:
